Sole Source acquisition -Three (3) Static advanced headforms with ISO standard tracheas

This Notice of Intent to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order is provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Acquisition Services (OAS) on behalf of the National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH), National Personal Protective Technology Laboratory (NPPTL). NPPTL has a requirement for Three (3) Static advanced headforms with ISO standard tracheas. They meet specific anthropometric size criteria and trachea design specifications. These headforms will be "one-of-a-kind" research tools for respiratory protection research evaluation once produced The intended recipient of this purchase order is Crawley Creatures Limited. doing business in Buckingham, United Kingdom. This order is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice and/or submitting proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive responses; however, all proposals received within 7 days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
